A highly sought after neurodivergent stand-up comic who can close, open or compere. Able to tailor his set to play the roughest clubs or the artiest theatres, James has travelled the world performing comedy to everyone and anyone. As well as being reviewed as "very funny", he's also been described as offbeat, aloof, uncoventional, refreshingly non-chalant and delightfully likeable.
As a writer he's written on 13 Edinburgh shows in 6 years. One show was nominated for Edinburgh best newcomer, one show won the Edinburgh panel prize. All together since staring out in comedy he's received over fifty 4 and 5 star reviews.
He's written full radio sitcom episodes for BBC Radio Wales, Co-written a Sky Christmas Short, contriuted to the Funz and Gamez BBC 3 pilot, and has independently written and recorded his own animated pilot staring Joe Gilgun, James Acaster, Brett Goldstein, and Scroobious Pip. He has also written and presented talks on class and offence in comedy for Brunel University, and taught at LIPA and The University of Salford. He has directed several Edinburgh shows including- 'Delightful Sausage: Cold Hard Cache and Jack Evans: Work, both of which recieved rave reviews.
